Shari Lynn Rothstein-Kramer

Shari Lynn Rothstein-Kramer brings nearly 30 years of experience to the proverbial table. After
graduating from S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, she
quickly climbed the proverbial publishing ladder in Manhattan, working on staff for numerous
consumer and trade magazines before moving to New Orleans for a year to sing lead vocals in a
band. In 2000, she moved to Florida and became the Editorial Director of start-up event
publication and website, BIZBASH FLORIDA. Never busy enough, Shari also freelanced for
national magazines and websites – and naturally, jumped into event planning.
Shari is extremely versatile. She writes about a wide breadth of topics including food, travel,
events, décor, all things luxury, jewelry, men’s, women’s and home fashion and fashion
accessories. In the past, she’s written about an array of topics including collectibles, gifts &
stationery, music and the entertainment industry. She handles social and corporate events,
weddings, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, and most recently, has added Non-Profit events to her
repertoire.
When Shari’s not working, she spends a lot of time with Kali, her Yorkie puppy, her Russian
Blue Hemingway, Hemi, and Oliver, her hopelessly sweet little black cat. Shari loves
traveling, public speaking, cooking, all things food-related, and shopping. Her most recent
hobby, painting, focuses on large-scale abstracts and animation-style animals. There’s nothing
she won’t try once (twice if she likes it) and believes that being kind, fair, inquisitive, and
passionate are the most important traits a person can possess. Giving back is the true
key to good karma. And good karma, she believes, is everything.
